then instead of just settling for the Spore Hawker tat was at Willeton..

Went to Spencer.. and guess what.. CLOSED.. *double dope*.. =(

so I guess.. learnt one thing today.. chinese shop dun open on Mondays.. lol..

Ended up having Burger King/Hungry Jacks.. it was either that or KFC.. guess we settled for BK

bcoz of the free refills.. so there we were.. two brothers.. eating BK, sipping Coke.. reading the newspapers..

What a wonderful thing.. spending some quality time.. =)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Onto other news..

more ppl are getting married..

a school mate is getting married.. so quik..

think they went steady last year.. and now engaged liao.. wah.. ^_^

apparently the rock darn big somemore.. =P

next.. my lil cousin apparently told her mummy.. that she and her bf are planning to get married end of next year.. poor aunty.. she had to ring my mom to ask wat to do.. lol..

how old is my cuz.. i think one or two years younger than me.. hmm.. ok lar.. think she's been dating him for like ages.. back in high school.. albeit sneaking behind parent's back..

and daveo is like getting married soon too.. hmm forgot to ask how big was the ring.. lol

siao lar.. i'm missing out on the weddings.. i want to eat all the food!! hehe.. and see pretty girls too!!

double yay!!

hopefully they will have the gd sense to have their weddings in Dec..
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and to my bz weekend..

played some cricket.. first time in my life.. alwiz thought it was a freaking boring game.. but when u actually play it.. can be quite fun.. and painful too.. if u are not careful.. i was lucky to get hit once.. thank God, it was just practice and I was the batsman.. my colleague throw the ball.. and well.. I managed to miss the ball and it nearly ended my future generations.. fortunately kena my thigh.. lol..

didnt know that some of the chaps had protection.. i thought when they ask for protectives.. i was thinkin of the knee pads.. to block those bowls that sometimes hit ur leg.. but no.. its like a plastic cup.. to protect ur crown jewels.. lol

we had 2 teams.. A and B.. no surprises that i'm in B.. we lost all 3 games.. it's ok lar.. we had a girl and me.. in a team of 8 players.. so not equal versus all the other 3 teams.. they were strong and all men team.. our A team made it to the grand final but lost to EY.. so it's not too bad..

also had my weekly dance classes..

improving my steps.. but still a bit slow when there is variation.. managed to embarassed myself and my dance partner during the waltz.. forgot the directions for the new variation.. and everyone was looking at us coz we were doing row by rows.. sighz.. major embarassment.. now no girl would wanna have me as their partner.. =(

must practice.. gonna keep practising til its second nature.. =)
though it much easier doing it alone.. but when u are dancing with a partner.. then the difficulty level increases.. coz the man is suppose to lead the woman.. *bah..

i guess thru learning how to dance.. this can make guys more assertive lar.. hehe.. wat a way to put it.. but seriously lor.. if the guy does not lead.. the girl wouldnt know which direction to go.. it's really interesting.. i can't imagine myself being in this position say mayb 3 years ago.. i alwiz thought that ballroom dancing was for old folks.. u know.. line dancing.. all the aunties dancing.. lol

but i take it all back lar.. it's a good experience..

i guess this is a year of learning and achieving new things.. new skills..

hopefully i will continue to pick up new stuff.. play more golf.. to be competent in it..

mayb learn a new language if i have the time.. Mandarin would be a priority i guess.. considering that China is the market to be in..

oh well..

better end here.. the comp is lagging badly..

Honeymoon Hot Spots

From MSN.COM

Once the wedding is over and the last guest has left, most couples look forward to their honeymoon—a week or two of unwinding, relaxing and spending quality time together in an exotic spot somewhere around the world.
Honeymoons come in all shapes and sizes—a beach vacation, a safari, a ski trip—and are based more on the couple's joint personality than on tradition. After months of wedding planning, many couples focus on finding a luxurious resort that will cater to their every need, while others search for a unique escape from their everyday world. All-inclusive resorts are a popular choice, as they leave little to no responsibility to the couple. Everything is paid for upfront, so newlyweds can spend their honeymoon eating, dancing, drinking and fooling around rather than fooling with money and credit cards.

Here are 10 of the world's hottest honeymoon destinations—from sunny beaches to snowcapped mountains and even fairy-tale theme parks.

10. Camino Real Acapulco Diamante
Location: Acapulco, Mexico
What's cool: Two adults-only pools for a quiet escape
Once the honeymoon destination for John and Jackie Kennedy, Acapulco is still a popular place for newlyweds celebrating their new life together. Temperatures hover in the 80s throughout the year, and the warm water is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. As if that's not enough to tempt you, the prices in Acapulco are affordable and can allow for an unforgettable honeymoon even on a tight budget. The Camino Real offers well-designed rooms overlooking the private Pichilingue Beach, as well as fine dining and a variety of activities. The hotel's convenient location allows guests to appreciate the nightlife of Acapulco by night and the natural beauty of the beaches by day.

9. The Bellagio Hotel
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
What's cool: Stunning gardens make an ideal setting for a romantic stroll
So maybe you didn't escape to Las Vegas to elope, but who says you can't celebrate your nuptials at this hot destination? Sin City is an ideal place for newlyweds looking for an action-packed and exciting honeymoon, while having the option of being pampered, all for a reasonable price. The Bellagio offers fine accommodations and a fun night life, along with gourmet dining, stunning gardens, an elaborate pool complex, a first-class spa and even fine art on display. Las Vegas' romantic side is undeniable, and the whirlwind of available activities is sure to provide an unforgettable vacation.

8. Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
Location: Alberta, Canada
What's cool: Warm up with your sweetie by the fire after a romantic sleigh ride.
Prefer to spend this precious time with your honey making snow angels rather than slathering on sunscreen? Situated on the edge of the glacier-fed Lake Louise, the Fairmont Chateau offers an abundance of winter sports, creating a heavenly honeymoon haven for snow bunnies. The wide variety of winter activities includes downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and even dog sledding. Guests can pamper themselves in the hotel's spa and then set off for a romantic sleigh ride into the wilderness. The idyllic lake setting makes Chateau Lake Louise a popular honeymoon spot even in the warmer months, when guests can take advantage of the resort's outdoor activities, which include horseback riding, whitewater rafting and hiking.

7. Walt Disney World
Location: Orlando, Florida
What's cool: Plan a private fireworks cruise.
There's no better place for a fairy-tale honeymoon for the bride and her Prince Charming than at Walt Disney World Resorts. Newlyweds can choose from packages such as the honeymoon escape, the deluxe escape and the romantic escape, which combines time at a Disney resort with a cruise to the Bahamas. Packages include accommodations and park passes, as well as a choice of amenities including honeymoon pictures at Disney sites or a couple's spa treatment. True Disney fans can bring the whole wedding to Disney World with a customized theme wedding at the park.

6. Amankila
Location: Mangiss, Bali, Indonesia
What's cool: Book the Deluxe Pool Suite with your own private pool.
Even savvy world travelers can find fresh and enchanting destinations to celebrate a new life together—it just may require some more time onboard. One such spot is tucked away on the island of Bali in Indonesia. Amankila translates to "peaceful hill," and this popular resort meets the expectations of its name. Overlooking the Lombok Strait in East Bali, the Amankila offers stunning views of the sea and a lovely three-tiered pool. A day away from the resort promises an experience of rich culture steeped in religious tradition at one of the island's 10,000 temples.

5. Grand Hotel Florence
Location: Florence, Italy
What's cool: The stained-glass ceiling in the hotel bar sets an Old World romantic mood.
If it's romance you're looking for, a trip to Florence guarantees starry eyes, hearty meals, amazing art and much more. Like a room with a view? Housed in a former 18th-century palace overlooking the Arno River, the rooms at the Grand Hotel are decorated with frescoes and marble and oozing with Florentine culture. The hotel is ideally situated near the picture-worthy Duomo cathedral, the splendid Uffizi Gallery and the shops at Ponte Vecchio. This need not be the only stop on a Mediterranean adventure—many honeymooners choose to travel on to other Italian hot spots, such as Rome, Venice and the Amalfi coast.

4. Caneel Bay
Location: St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
What's cool: Inquire about their complete wedding planning service and get married at the hotel.
Located on the 5,000-acre Virgin Islands National Park, the Caneel Bay resort is surrounded by seven beaches and offers a wide range of pampering and activities—a visit to Honeymoon Beach is a must for all lovebirds. Some rooms have ocean views and a patio that opens right onto the beach, while the resort's most extravagant lodging option is a private cottage. Daytime activities include relaxing on the beach or participating in the resort's many activities, which include scuba diving, kayaking and yoga-for-two classes. The food is top-notch and the Beach Terrace offers the highly-praised grand buffet on Monday nights overlooking Caneel Beach.

3. Bora Bora Lagoon Resort
Location: Bora Bora, French Polynesia
What's cool: Guests can either relax on the beach or participate in some exciting activities, including safari tours and shark feedings on the water.
Nestled on an island in the lagoon of Bora Bora, this resort invites newlyweds to revel in post-wedding privacy in a bungalow perched above the lagoon on high stilts. The Canoe Breakfast brings the morning nosh to new levels as breakfast and fresh flowers are loaded into a canoe and delivered to your room. While the resort offers many evening entertainment options and group activities, honeymooners can escape the crowds with a private barbecue for two on a secluded island. Guests snorkel and relax while their personal chef prepares an island feast served on fine china and linens in the great outdoors.

2. Hyatt Regency Aruba Beach Resort & Casino
Location: Palm Beach, Aruba
What's cool: A variety of culinary experiences to please every palate—from sushi to tapas to the popular "Fajitas and Ritas" special featuring Mexican food and margaritas.
Some honeymooners are looking for an action-packed vacation while others just want to soak in the rays and relax. For those who fall in the latter group, Aruba is an ideal destination with its near-perfect weather and beautiful beaches. Only 20 miles long and 6 miles wide, this small space is packed with enough beaches, restaurants, nightclubs and casinos to delight even the most finicky members of the just-married set. The focus is on serenity by day, when couples can enjoy the island's fine beaches, pool complexes and spas, and on action at night, when the island's clubs and casinos come alive. Meet Lady Luck, but be careful not to lose your shirt at the Copacabana Casino, which re-creates the feeling of Rio at Carnival time.

1. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai
Location: The Big Island, Hawaii
What's cool: First-floor rooms have a private outdoor shower.
Say "aloha" to romance at this Four Seasons resort, where you can spend your days lounging by the adults-only Palm Grove pool or exploring the natural King's Pond pool before heading off to the luxurious spa for a relaxing couple's massage. The Ultimate Honeymoon Package offers a rental car for your stay, a romantic private dinner on the beach and breakfast daily. Guests can indulge their senses during the day and unwind at sunset with a mai tai at the Beach Tree Bar before heading to the second-floor Makai Terrace for an intimate first-class dinner overlooking the ocean.

~ hello, stranger..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan: Didn't fancy my sandwiches?
Alice: Don't eat fish.
Dan: Why not?
Alice: Fish piss in the sea.
Dan: So do children.
Alice: Don't eat children either.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan: You love her like a dog loves its owner.
Larry: And the owner loves the dog for so doing.
Dan: You'll hurt her. You'll never forgive her.
Larry: Of course I'll forgive her. I *have* forgiven her. Without forgiveness we're savages. You're drowning.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alice: No one will ever love you as much as I do. Why isn't love enough?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry: Of course she enjoyed it. As you know, she loves a guilty fuck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anna: Don't stop loving me. I can see it draining out of you. It's me, remember? It was a stupid thing to do and it meant nothing. If you love me enough, you'll forgive me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alice: Where is this love? I can't see it, I can't touch it. I can't feel it. I can hear it. I can hear some words, but I can't do anything with your easy words.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Larry: You don't know the first thing about love, because you don't understand compromise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan: What's so great about the truth? Try lying for a change, it's the currency of the world.
